Community Events
Heber-Overgaard Chamber of Commerce is host to many exciting events throughout the year that attracts visitors from all over the Southwest and beyond. Our signature event is a Fourth of July Weekend Celebration that has been a State favorite for decades. Other annual events include Oktoberfest, Trunk or Treat, Winterfest, a visit from the Pony Express, and much more. In addition to theses Chamber of Commerce events many of our Chamber Members are host to other events and activities that take place all year long in the beautiful mountain community of Heber-Overgaard. *VOLUNTEERS NEEDED…The Heber-Overgaard Chamber of Commerce is looking for volunteers who can help with our 4th of July Festival. This event is a 100% volunteer run event and we need your help. Please join us Saturday April 27th from 10am to Noon at the Rim Country Community Center for more information.

*Saturday, April 27th The Overgaard Ponderosa Lions Club will sponsor the Lions Vision Center of Arizona Mobile Eye Unit offering a complete eye exam (with prescription, if needed) at the Overgaard Bison Ranch. Please call 928-535-6835 to confirm your eye appointment (No Contact Lenses) for the 27th for a nominal fee of only $40 (cash or check please)

*Saturday & Sunday, May 25th & 26th The American Legion Post 86 will be hosting a fundraiser for the Heber-Overgaard Meals on Wheels program.

*Saturday June 15th, Rim Country Community Center is sponsoring their 2nd Annual Meals on Wheels Walkathon from 8am to 1pm. This year’s festival will include a Craft Bazaar, Bake Sale, Local Vendors, Raffle items and Door Prizes. There will be a Kid’s Zone from 8am to Noon with face painting, fun tattoos, a coloring contest with prizes and loads of carnival games! The $4 Lunch Deal will be back with a choice of pulled pork sandwich or hot dog.

Second Tuesday – Chamber of Commerce meets at the Rim Country Community/Senior Center. Time is 5pm to 7pm. It is a great opportunity to network, meet new people, and find out what is going on in the community. It is FREE and ALL are welcome. - Pine Needlers Quilt Group Meeting. – 10am at the Faith Lutheran Church on Mogollon Drive in Overgaard.
- 4:30 t 6:30 Line Dancing at the Rim Country Community Center. Beginners 4:30 to 5:30, Intermediate 5:30 to 6:30
First Tuesday – Tuesday Talk’s at the Rim County Community/Senior Center from 9:30 am to 10:15 am. Each month a guest speaker will discuss community related items and allow those in attendance to ask question. It is FREE and ALL are welcome.
Second Tuesday – H-O Unified School District Board Meeting at 7pm at Capps Middle School in the Performing Arts Center.
Third Tuesday – 6 pm Fire Board meeting at the Heber-Overgaard Fire Station. Open to the public.

Hashknife Pony Express – February 2nd from 10am to 12pm Meet and Greet at the Heber-Overgaard Chamber of Commerce. Then on Wednesday February 6th the Riders will pick up mail and ride thru Heber-Overgaard.
